Floody Guitars
Floody Guitars was concieved in the years following the workshop getting flooded on Boxing Day 2015. The water damaged, amongst other things, two guitars that Jack had been (very slowly) building - an acoustic guitar and a Telecaster. The acoustic fell apart and the tele got badly stained with flood water, so Jack decided to try and salvage the materials and put them together as a rosewood back and sides wrapped mahogany thinline tele body. This project is still ongoing due to other things getting in the way such as Jack's repair work.
A few years later, to celebrate 20 years of repairing guitars, Jack decided to build himself a Stratocaster. Jack mentioned this to a friend who said that he would like a custom built Jazzmaster and Jack agreed to make one.
Jack mentioned this to a customer who said he'd like a custom built Telecaster Thinline.
Then Jack mentioned all of these projects to another customer who said he'd like a custom built Jaguar.
And so, with these projects in mind, Floody Guitars was born.
